This is how we cultivate mindfulness.<\/p>\n<p>Jon Kabat-Zinn<\/p>\n<p>This year MLS is reaching new heights in so many ways, not only are we on the cutting edge of the latest technology trends, but also with our efforts towards ensuring our students&#8217; wellbeing. This year one of our own is conducting her TLDW work on bringing Mindfulness into the classroom.\u00a0 Practicing being present, practicing gratitude and compassion, with activities and lessons. The aim is to train students on how to deal with stress, change, and strong emotions using awareness and acceptance.\u00a0Lead by Ms. Jacqui Hefferman, our Grade 4 Olive Class Teacher, a qualified Yoga Instructor and Mindfulness Practitioner who aims to train teachers across the school to add Mindfulness into their daily routine.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The best way to capture moments is to pay attention.
